TiE Toronto’s 18th annual business venture competition, TiEQuest, is now accepting applications for all eligible early-stage companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs.
ABOUT THIS APPLICATION
TiE Toronto has opened applications to the prestigious TiE Quest 2023 and is calling all eligible start-ups, emerging companies, and entrepreneurs to apply. Like last year, we are offering two separate tracks for the competition – one specifically for MedTech and HealthTech companies and one for all other verticals of tech and business.
There will be a winner announced for each track. This sought-after event is a multi-stage business venture competition, bringing start-ups from across Canada to receive advice from industry professionals, and network with top angel investors, venture capitalists, fund managers, and other professionals. The winners in both streams take home total cash prizes of $50,000, $100,000 in-kind prizes, and the opportunity to receive upto $250,000 in investments.

Early February 2023 – Application Review and First Round Judging
Mid February 2023 – Applicant Mentoring
February 27-March 10, 2023 – Elevator Pitch Round Judging (Virtual)
March 27-31, 2023 – Business Plan Round Judging (Virtual)
April 12, 2023 – TiEQuest Finals In-Person Gala at RBC WaterPark Place, Toronto.
May 5-7, 2023 – TiECon (In-Person Conference in Santa Clara, California.)
