“ElevatED"-Rise to the challenges in Education
The ElevatED Challenge,
organized by MEITY Startup Hub in partnership with Dell Technologies, is a
first of its kind pan-India challenge that focuses on the power of EdTech
companies to bridge the divide and foster inclusive education. ElevatED will bring
together startups, innovators, educationists and industry to address the
emerging needs of teachers, parents, and learners.
ElevatED intends to provide a
platform for startups from various disciplinary and vocational backgrounds to highlight
their innovative technology-enhanced solutions that make education accessible
for all and address barriers such as access, bandwidth, learning abilities,
inclusivity, among others.
Participating startups will not
only present their unique offering to various industry leaders but will also
get an opportunity to commercialize their offerings/ solutions by partnering
with Dell Technologies. We intend to elevate the discussion surrounding
technology for education and transforming lives for human progress.
Themes & Problem Statements
Startups applying for the ElevatED Challenge must submit a product/idea/solution that addresses one of the five problem statements/themes listed below:

Selection Process and Timelines
The ElevatED Challenge would be organized in three (3)
phases:
- Phase-1: Submission of Applications by eligible start-ups,
founders & entrepreneurs (By 31-Oct-21)
- Phase-2: Shortlisting of Ideas and Solutions for the Grand
Finale (Will be announced on 15-Nov-21)
- Phase-3: Top 10 finalists pitch their solutions to a
Multifaceted Jury at the ElevatED Grand Finale. 3 Winners to be selected. (Estimated
Date: 30-Nov-21)
Prizes and Incentives
Top 3 Winners of the ElevatED Challenge stand to win the
following
- Induction as Dell Certified Partners and enrollment into Dell's Signature Partner Program: Access to 55K+ Dell customers to influence and
sell your portfolio; Incentives on your sales that includes
Dell portfolio products; Automatic access to trainings and
certifications through Dell’s Partner Program portal; Access to a Business Development Manager from
Dell Technologies to work on propagating your portfolio to our customers.
- A Tinkering Micro-Lab Worth ~USD 5000, to be availed within 6 months: Each Micro-Lab would contain: 1 Dell
Workstation + 1 Dell Laptop + 1 Display + Accessories. Top 3 winners will also be able
to access Dell’s Technology Labs and Centers of Excellence for 1 year (with
prior appointment for a maximum period of 5 day per instance).
- Exclusive access to Dell Virtual Events: Each winner organization will get access to participate
in 3 Dell virtual events hosted between December 2021 and April 2022 as
speakers and will get to lead discussions about their solution with select
customers. These events shall be conducted by April 2022. Start-Ups shall refrain from showcasing /
using products which are competing with Dell Technologies portfolio.
- Technology Mentorship from Dell Leaders: Dell Technologies will assign a senior leader,
renowned in diverse technology domains, as mentor to each winner. Mentor would bring in additional team members
or technology resources to aid the Startup at their discretion.
